The Ford GT-40 is perhaps the iconic American racecar. Part of the thrill of going to a vintage sports car race is to see and hear these fantastic cars in motion as opposed to just sitting in a museum.
This particular GT-40 I was able to take some photos of it in action and also in the pit garage undergoing some maintenance. Therefore I was able to get some details of the car such as the suspension, engine and the interior.

Nice job on the GT40 photos. I love the suspension photo, Fantastic! Try and ask what the chassis number of any GT40 you photograph is or ask if you can photograph the chassis plate. It is always nice to be able to establish exactly what Historical GT40 we are looking at on any photos published. I could really use some great photos like these on my new site, GT40.net.
